Some facts about our company
Steel Tool and Engineering was founded in 1950 by J. Ambrose and C.D. LaFond at 3058 Junction Ave in Detroit, Michigan. We operated in this location until 1968 when it was relocated to our Taylor Michigan location at 22152 Pennsylvania Rd.
In 1984 the company was acquired by Rapp & Son Inc. Steel Tool and Engineering operated in the Taylor location and another location at 3767 11th Street in Wyandotte Michigan until 2008 when our current location was opened at 28005 Fort St in Gibraltar Michigan.
